| The association, in conformity
to the purport of initiation, is instituted with individual
and organization engaging on working directly or indirectly
in the field of statistics and in the related. Membership
is classified with Honour membership, Patronage membership,
Ordinary membership and Quasi-membership.

(1) Honour Membership
The qualification of Honour Membership is bestowed on
them who have made great contributions to the development
of the association or have achieved brilliant accomplishments
in the field of statistics, after passing through the
procedure of agreement of Board of Directors by recommendation
of president. |

(2) Patronage Membership
The donator, who has subscribed funds to the association,
can obtain the qualification of Patronage Membership after
resolution of directors. |
| |
(3) Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is granted to the individual and
organization taking charge of statistical activities
has been affiliated to the association, after paying
a membership fee for the entry.
Organization and individual registered as membership
will be privileged to receive "Statistics"
and other publications issued by the association and
also to request the reading of statistical books and
other references and materials on free charge.

(4) Quasi-Membership
Organization and individual affiliated as Quasi-Membership
shall be provided, in return for the fee paid, with periodic
and or non periodic statistical publication and live-information
together with free request of consultation and recommendation
on matter related to statistics. |

(5) Privileges for Member
Affiliated
Members affiliated shall enjoy the following privileges
and benefits provided with : |
| a. The various
training, seminar and symposium etc. |
| b. Various statistical information,
data etc. |
| c. Free distribution of periodic
and non periodic publication issued |
| d. Various functional meeting,
rendezvous and over-seas training |
e. Oral and/or written promotion
on the matters and problems related with
activities
of KSPI |
f. Other miscellaneous practical
privileges stipulated by article and purport of
KSPI,
such as
bellow : |

① Methodological practice of statistical
data collection and utilization
② Survey planning execution
③ Analysis and scrutiny of the statistics
④ Collection and analysis of business information
⑤ charting, editing and compiling of current economic
trend and business policy etc.
⑥ Feasibility study of specific topics and fields
beyond the jurisdiction and others
⑦ Consultation of the technical problems and bottlenecks

| (6) Membership Obligation
|
a. Organization and individual
affiliated shall contribute to the development of
the
statistics
of Korea, exerting study research of statistical
method, knowledge and
techniques,
etc. |
| b. Abide by the confidentiality stipulated by
Statistics Law(Article No.9) |
c. Maintain the close cooperation and coordination
along with friendship and amity
among
members |
| d. Obliged to pay the designated fee
not later than the date due |
